The Uttarakhand Congress has demanded a White Paper on the outcome of grievances received during the Janata Darbar programmes held so far in the state.
Addressing to media at the party headquarters here today, state Congress vice-president Suryakant Dhasmana demanded that the state government should come out with the white paper on the redressal of grievances received during Janata Darbar programmes.
“It is important that a white paper should be released by the Trivendra Singh Rawat government revealing as to how many grievances were received and disposed of during these programmes,” Dhasmana pointed out. He alleged that the Janata Darbar programmes were yielding no results.
He said the Congress would shortly launch a statewide agitation against the government over its anti-people policies. He apprised that Congress workers would take out a bicycle rally on January 29 against the state government anti-people policies. It would be followed by series of dharnas and protest programmes. He said a major protest would be carried out by the party activists in February
