To review the progress of the Tehri district Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has convened a meeting with Tehri district officials at Tehri on Sunday. In which he has asked them to make a plan about how to increase the earning of the people. He asked that their government sole motive is to check migration by creating employment at their nearby residence. To ensure farmers should get better price of their produce you implement cluster based project on ground. He asked them to have meeting with health department including allopathy, Ayruveda and homoeopathic doctors and appoint them as per the requirement of the areas especially where no medical service are in place. It means it has been noticed that one place all three kind of medical service are available so appoint them where no service is available.

He asked them to develop a new tourist destination and promote rural tourism. He asked them to promote local culture so that people who have left their home should get attracted towards their home. He said that to promote local culture you provide modern facility in available buildings. You develop Pawalikantha and Sahastrataal and bring it on tourism map of rock climbing sites. You highlight these points on social media and internet so that more and more people would come to know about it. CM asked that their government is making more plan to attract more and more number of tourists upto the Tehri Lake. He asked the district food and civil supply officer to make sure availability of the food grains in the PDS shops on time. CM asked that as government is going to transfer the subsidy amount to the beneficiary under direct benefit transfer (DBT) by November this year so you connect every ration card holders bank account and Aadhar with their card. Then they would be able to receive their subsidy amount directly into their account.

CM asked the PWD to repair the damaged road on priority basis and whatever fund has been released should be utilized as soon as possible. He asked them that you build rope way,w hich was damaged in disaster 2013, so that people should not face inconvenience. During review meeting CM was apprised that 334 schools have mere 10 students in the primary schools of the district. He also asked the social welfare department officials to linke pensioners bank account with aadhar number so that they would not face inconvenience while receiving their pension.
