Traders open their outlets after successful talks with district administration in Kedarnath Dham

In a significant development towards ensuring the seamless conduct of the revered Shri Kedarnath Yatra, the district administration, local businessmen, and pilgrimage priests have reached a consensus following fruitful negotiations. As a result, all traders and pilgrimage priests have promptly opened their establishments, marking a crucial step towards the facilitation of the pilgrimage.

The talks, orchestrated under the guidance of SDM Ukhimath, Anil Shukla, and supervised by District Magistrate Saurabh Gaharwar, bore fruit as both parties found common ground on various pertinent issues. Shukla emphasized the constructive and positive nature of the discussions, stating that the reasonable demands put forth by the trade union and Tirtha Purohit Samaj were duly acknowledged and accepted.

“After extensive deliberations, we have successfully addressed the concerns raised by the trade union and Tirtha Purohit Samaj. Their demands were deemed reasonable, and in accordance with the directives of District Magistrate Saurabh Gaharwar, we have taken decisive steps to ensure their fulfillment,” remarked SDM Anil Shukla.
