Devotees and enthusiasts are gearing up for the auspicious departure of the Dev Doli carrying the Panchmukhi idol of Lord Kedarnath from the Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath today. The procession marks a significant milestone as it embarks on its journey to the first stop at Guptkashi.

Ahead of this momentous occasion, the Shri Omkareshwar Temple, recognized as the Panchkedar Gadsthal, has been adorned with intricate floral arrangements. The beautification efforts have been diligently carried out by the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, with generous contributions from donors, enhancing the spiritual ambiance of the sacred site.

The impending departure of the Dev Doli heralds the imminent opening of the doors of Baba Kedarnath Dham for darshan, scheduled for 10th May at 7 am. This anticipated event is expected to draw devotees from far and wide, eager to pay homage and seek blessings at the revered pilgrimage site.

In a culmination of divine worship, last Sunday witnessed the completion of the veneration of Shri Bhairav Nath Ji within the premises of the Shri Omkareshwar Temple. This sacred ritual served as a prelude to the forthcoming festivities and symbolized the devout reverence bestowed upon the deity.

As preparations continue in full swing, devotees await with bated breath for the commencement of the revered journey of the Dev Doli, a cherished tradition steeped in spiritual significance and divine reverence.
