Dhami govt’s budget is dedicated to 4 pillars GYAN

Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has described the budget presented in the Uttarakhand Assembly on Tuesday as holistic, inclusive, balanced & development oriented. CM Dhami said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mentioned the four pillars of developed India- poor, youth, women & farmers and the budget presented today by our government is dedicated to these. CM Dhami said that our government presented a budget of ₹89,230 crore for the year 2024-25, which is 15.27 percent more than last year.

CM Dhami said that our government is working with a determination without any option for a strong Uttarakhand. Our government has made more than 30 policies to promote industrial development and employment and its positive effects are also visible.

The Chief Minister said that the economic growth rate of Uttarakhand has been 7.63% in the year 2022-23, which is higher than the national average. He said that almost the same rate is expected in the year 2023-24 also. The Chief Minister said that our per capita income has increased by 12%. The per capita income in the year 2023-24 was ₹ 2,60,201.
CM Dhami said that according to the multidimensional poverty index released by NITI Aayog, 9,17,299 people of the state have come out of the poverty line.

Special focus on 4 pillars:-

Poor Welfare: The Chief Minister said that a provision of ₹ 5,658 crore has been made in the budget for the welfare of the poor. This includes ₹ 93 crore for housing for the poor, ₹600 crore for food grains supply and ₹55 crore for free gas refill.

Youth Welfare: The CM Dhami said that a total provision of ₹ 1,679 crore has been made for youth welfare, technical education and higher education. This also includes ₹ 250 crore for organizing national games. Provision has also been made in the budget for the Chief Minister Minority Meritorious Girls Promotion Scheme. Attention has also been given to creating employment opportunities for the youth.

Annadata: The Chief Minister said that the budget amount has been increased for the farmer brothers. A total provision of ₹ 2,415 crore has been kept in the year 2024-25. In this, special attention has been paid to Deendayal Upadhyaya Cooperative Farmers Welfare Scheme, Mission Apple, Farmer Pension, Chief Minister Matsya Sampada Yojana.

Narishakti: The Chief Minister said that a provision of about ₹ 14,538 crore has been kept in the gender budget in the financial year 2024-25. Provisions have been made in Nanda Gaura, Chief Minister Mahalaxmi Yojana, Chief Minister Vatsalya Yojana, Ganga Cow Mahila Dairy Development Scheme etc.
