Congress President Rahul Gandhi is on a tour of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand today. He arrived in the capital Dehradun to address the public. During this time a big picture appeared on stage. After the rally, Rahul Gandhi will also meet the families of the CRPF jawans who were martyred in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir on February 14. Besides, Rahul Gandhi will also meet the Major Chitresh Bisht’s family who died in the IED blast in Naushera after the Pulwama attack.
Uttarakhand has five Lok Sabha seats. Bharatiya Janata Party won all the seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. This happened when there was a Congress government in the state. After this assembly elections in 2017, BJP got power. Now on one hand, in the state where there is a BJP government, returning to Uttarakhand, will be a big challenge for the party and Rahul Gandhi.
