873 fuel pumps to be open in UK

If you wish to own a fuel pump then time has arrived because oil marketing companies (OMC) have invited application for petrol pump. In uttarakhand they are going to open 873 new outlets in coming days. For this they have issued advertisement too. The process of dealer selection has been simplified in line with the government emphasis on ease of doing business. user friendly online application has been introduced.

For this they are not demanding any bank balance too. Even people who live outside the district can also apply for other district.This time they have made this procedure online so anybody,  whether he has bank balance or not does not matter, can apply for petrol pump for highways, cities or rural areas.

While disclosing this to media, chief Regional Manage of HPCL, Uttarakhand GHV Rao said that currently uttarakhand 548 petrol pumps are operational in uttarakhand. Now 873 new petrol/diesel pumps including IOC 308, HPCL 308 and BPCL 257 to be open in the state. As petrol and diesel demands are increasing annually by 8  and 4 percent respectively. This time multiple dealership has been allowed. Although those who have A category fuel pump owner would not be eligible for this but those who have B category can apply for this. Even LPG agency owner can also apply for this.

Availability of suitable land at the advertised location/stretch is the most important requirement. Applicant without land can also apply how they are expected to offer land when called for.

Earlier education qualification for the ownership was graduation but now matric pass can apply. Applicant should be age group between  21 t0 60 years. Allotment would be done through bid opening or draw of lots. Although draw of lots to be done by the independent agency. All retail outlets will be constructed with latest technology including automation.
