ISRO planning to connect villages with 100mbps internet connection

Kailasavadivoo Sivan, Head of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), said that under the Digital India Mission launched by the Prime Minister, ISRO is trying to provide high speed data of 100 Gbps for rural and remote areas. For this, four communication satellites are being set up in space. One of them has been established this year, while three others will be established in the beginning of November, December and next year. “ISRO will send humans to space for the first time in 2022, while the ambitious Chandrayaan 2 project will be completed in January or February 2019. “

He was the chief guest at the convocation of Gorakhpur University. In the conversation with reporters, he said, “We have fixed the deadline to send man to space, this can be done at the end of 2021 or at the beginning of 2022.”
