Uttarakhand BJP has alleged that Congress has uploaded a “doctored” video on social media to tarnish the Uttarakhand’s image, which has uplifted after organising investors summit on october 7-8 in Dehradun. They are unable to digest the outcome of Investors Summit, where MoU of more than Rs one lakh crore signed. The video went viral on social media recently in which Adani group chairman Gautam Adani was purportedly shown in conversation with Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, speaking negatively about the state of infrastructure projects in Uttarakhand.
“The video is doctored and uploaded with an intention to project a wrong picture of the state to discourage investors. The Congress can’t digest the huge success of the summit attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” state BJP media head Dr Devendra Bhasin said. Terming the video as part of a conspiracy hatched by the Congress to defame Uttarakhand and discourage investors from coming here, he said the plot stood exposed.
“The Congress had been conspiring all along to disrupt the state’s first ever investors summit. The doctored video which seeks to misrepresent things about the state is part of that plot,” he said in a statement.
“The reality is that the video was first uploaded on former PCC chief’s Facebook account and was tweeted upon by the AICC general secretary and former chief minister shows it was a handiwork of the Congress party,” Dr Bhasin added.
Meanwhile he further said that state information department has already lodged FIR against the digital media, which had uploaded it without verifying its facts.
