6 states jolted by Earthquake on September 12

Earthquake tremors were felt in six states of India in a span of five hours on Wednesday. Earthquake occurred in parts of Bihar, Assam, Jharkhand, Haryana, West Bengal and parts of Jammu and Kashmir. On earthquake tremors, people in these states came out of buildings and panic spread. There is no news of loss of life anywhere so far.
The magnitude of earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir was 4.6 on Wednesday. The disaster management officer said that there was no news of the loss of life and property. He said that shocks were recorded at 5.15 in the morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 199 kilometers away from the Kargil town of Laddakh area.
At the same time earthquake tremors were felt in Mungair, Bhagalpur, Araria, Purnia, Badh, Patna, Farbisganj, Madhepura and Murliganj in Bihar. At the same time, there were also trem orsin Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh. Two days ago, earthquake shocks were felt in the capital Delhi. Its center was near Meerut and Haryana border.
