Skill Development and Employment Secretary Dr Pankaj Pandey has inaugurated the free training programme of heavy earth moving Equipment backhoe Loader Operator being done by Escorts Skill development Pvt. Limited, Faridabad as part of the Prime Minister Skill development Scheme financed by National Skill Development Corpoartion (NSDC) and implemented through Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission at Government Industrial Training Institute at Gujrada, here on Monday.

Dr Pandey termed the training as most useful for Uttarakhand.  He said that bit was for the first time that Heavy earth moving equipment training is being imparted in Uttarakhand. Trainee will get high quality training and thus provide better employment opportunities to the youth of the state. He also encouraged the trainee to get fully trained in practical knowledge. This training will encourage youth from the state in the industry and their demand will increase. He called upon the youth to ensure their participation in such initiatives. This will not only provide them with experience but improve the quality of their work.

JB Mathur, Director, Escorts Pvt. Limited, Faridabad gave details of the training programmes run by Escorts Skill Development and emphasized that everybody has to be expert in advanced technology as per the requirement of the industry. He also thanked the Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission and ITI,Gujrada for support in organizing this training programme.

Sanjeev Kumar, Principal, ITI, Rajpur Road, Gujrada welcomed all the guests on the occasion and thanked Secretary, Skill Development and Employment for his vision, guidance and efforts in getting the training programme in Heavy earth moving equipment organized. He also wished the Escorts Skill development for the initiative.

Purva Aggarwal, President, IMC, ITI, Gujrada, Dehradun, JM Negi, Deputy Director (training), Nodal officers of Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission Chanderkanta and Shavez Baksh, Avnish Jain from SPIA, principals of other institutes, Dinkar Rautela, Amit Kalyan and Anil Vadhera, Sumrin Singh, Sachin Uniyal of Escorts Skill Development, Faridadad and instructors, staff and trainees of the institute were present on the occasion.
