Terrorist attack at Army camp

Three soldiers and the daughter of an armyman were injured when a group of terrorists stormed into the Army camp at Sunjawan, on the outskirts of Jammu city, on Jammu-Pathankot national highway.
The condition of one of the injured is said to be serious.

IGP Jammu told the media person that terrorists involved in the attack are engaged in the gun-battle and likely to be neutralised soon. He said that initial reports suggested that a group of three to four terrorists had reportedly managed to sneak into the highly fortified Army camp. The camp has many residential quarters for the families of the armymen.

The terrorists breached the rear side of the Sunjwan Army camp near Sainik Colony on the outskirts of the city during the intervening night.

Initial reports suggest that terrorists entered the camp at 5 am. The Sanjwan army camp has quarters for the families of the armymen. A Kendriya Vidayalyaa is situated metres from the attack side.
