State IAS officers’ association condemns ‘assault’ on Delhi CS

The IAS Association of Uttarakhand has condemned the assault on the Chief Secretary of NCT, Anshu Prakash, by an AAP MLA earlier this week when the former had gone to CM house in New Delhi.

In a statement, the IAS association of Uttarakhand has demanded immediate arrest of culprits. “We demand action and arrest of culprits. In this hour, we are solidly behind the Chief Secretary,” said association president Additional Chief Secretary Dr Ranbir Singh. “The outrageous and shocking event is not only a dent on the rule of law but also hinder the neutral impartial functioning of the civil services, which is an essence of the Constitution of India”,he added.
