Divyang to get 4% reservation in govt job


The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has inaugurated the newly constructed building of Department of Special Education and Research of National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan) at NIVH Dehradun on Monday.

He said that the CM may be directly informed about the problems of Divyang by officers of the institution. Their problems will be kept on top priority and efforts will be made to resolve them properly. The decision will be taken soon on providing 4 percent reservation in government services and 05 percent reservation in educational institutions. Underpass will be made for Divyang to solve their problem related to come and go. Permission will be given by the state government for the registration for research in institution.

The  central and state governments were working for Divyang with full sensitivity. On this occasion, the CM also honored the officers and employees of the Institute for their excellent works.
