Scientists have been left baffled after a creature that resembles dinosaur with flesh still on its bones was found in Jaspur, a city in Uttarakhand. The partially-preserved body of the animal was discovered by an electrician cleaning a sub-station that has been untouched for 35 years. While it looks like a small dinosaur, they have been extinct for 65 million years. Scientists are having a hard time trying to identify the animal and its age. While the animal looks like a flightless dinosaur a Conservator with the Indian Forest Service, Dr Parag Madhukar Dhakate said that it would remain an enigma until scientific tests are completed.
The experts said that it looks like a small dinosaur that could be near impossible as flightless dinosaurs have been extinct for 65 million years. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, a Conservator with the Indian Forest Service, “It looks like a dinosaur, but we can’t say anything until all the tests are done.” The 28cm-long corpse somewhat resembles Deinonychus, the Coelophysis and the Dromaeosaurus.
