A woman delivers her baby on road, govt marks probe

Taking cognizance on the media reports that a woman has delivered her baby on bridge state government marks probe on it. this incident has again highlighted the plight of the people especially who lives in hills or remote areas in the absence of medical facility. State cabinet minister and government spokesperson Madan Kaushik informed that government has marked the departmental probe on it. During probleHe assures that whosoever will be found guilty will be punished by the government. He said that in hills people prefers not to go for institutional delivery so the woman might have been one of them.

Ironically, uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat claims that he would check migration from hills by arranging better medical facility, Education and job opportunity within their nearby areas. This incident has exposed government claims and highlighted the condition of hills too. In case of emergency they have to travel long over the shoulders of their relative or villager at least nearby connecting road to catch ambulance or nearby hospital.

As we know that few months ago a woman had delivered a dead baby on the road nearby Lakshman siddh temple because 108 Ambulance did not reach on time. Later another woman had delivered a baby on road nearby neelkanth temple. After every incident government claims that he has marked proble but nothing happened so far. When dainiknation.com enquired the minister that before this incident several deliveries had happened on road so how many officials have been booked for this so far? Instead of giving befitting reply he asked were these incidents happened during previous regime or incumbent regime? If it happens in this regime, then he would answer it after through probe.
