Tiranga yatra with flying upside down


A ‘Tiranga Yatra’ was taken out by the activists of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday. The students assembled at DAV PG College on the day and took out the Yatra. Carrying National flags the activists chanted nationalistic slogans in the Yatra. The Yatra meandered through Karanpur market, Survey Chowk, Lansdowne Chowk, Tibet Market, Parade Ground and secretariat and returned back to the college.

Addressing the activists, the convener of the Yatra Devendra Bisht said that ABVP is a student organization which is dedicated towards nationalism. He said that many anti-national elements are nowadays are challenging the country and such elements should be identified.  The President of DAV PG college students Union, Rahul Kumar said that some anti nationals active in the colleges and universities and they allure the unsuspecting students and push them in the anti national activities.
