Ex CM Tiwari may also join BJP

DAINIK NATION BUREAU

Former chief minister ND Tiwari, who has been living with regret that if he had won the general election -1991 from Nainital lok sabha constituency then he might have served the nation as prime minister of India but was defeated by BJP candidate Balraj Passi, may join BJP in coming days. As we know that Tiwari and chief minister harish Rawat are two permanent foe. It is being said that he has been eyeing for Bhimtaal, which was vacated by Dan singh bhandari a day before Rajya sabha election in the year 2016, so BJP does not have right candidate to field against the congress candidate Bhandari.

Currently Ex CM Tiwari is trying his hard to settle his biological son Rohit Shekher in politics. For this he has been seeking ticket from congress but congress high command has not given any indication to him. Meanwhile BJP has approached him because if he joins BJP then congress would loss their Brahmin vote bank in Kumaon region.  It is being said that Tiwari has good rapport in Kumaon region and seldom you find a house which speaks against Tiwari.

As we know that despite having in nineties he has been active in politics which is why he quite often participate in the protest. Recently he along with his wife and son Shekhar had staged dharna along with UPNL employee, who were sitting in protest with an demand to regularize them,.
